live in the Isle of Wight and love to smock and especially enjoy sharing
my smocking with others.
I
always work in sympathy with the material, paying great attention to
quality and the fine detail that turns
a dress from the ordinary into the exquisite. I do all
embroidery by hand.
I
love to explore possibilities, too, so you will find a range fromtraditional
to modern, with some unusual ones as well.
Every
dress has a 10cm hem so that, taking into account smocking's elasticity,
it will fit the growing child for at least two years, before it is put
away for a sibling and then the next generation.
